The Custom Sofa Centre operates showroom locations across New South Wales and Queensland, where customers can custom design their own sofa or recliner.

The Challenge

After two successful years in 2019 and 2020, The Custom Sofa Centre wanted to expand even further in 2021 with new locations and the launch of a new e-commerce website and go head-to-head with furniture brand giants (i.e. Plush, Ikea) in the Australia market.

Our Solution

For this project, we are fortunate that our client understands the adage “You have to spend money to make money.” In order to take on the global brands, they were willing to allocate $1million in 2021 for marketing and advertising. Geonet launched a full-scale marketing program to increase sales in each of the store locations as well as online orders.

Custom-built e-commerce website with 100 products and variations

PPC strategy for 15 key words, all stores and seasonal sales - a total of 2,400 ads

SEO content plan and writing, that included 35 keywords and high-volume search terms, with custom landing pages and a total of 40,000 words of original content

Social Media advertising - Video, still image and carousel ads for all 8 stores, a total of 97 ads for Facebook, Instagram and YouTube

Video animation and 3D rendering content for website, advertisements, and social media

Social media organic posting, 3-4 posts weekly
